Summer Camp Programs in Decatur, GA
This year, from June to July, International Preparatory Academy is offering summer camp to children ages 5 to 13 years in Decatur, Atlanta, Scottsdale, and North Decatur, GA. Our summer learing program blends fun and exciting activities and adventures with interest-based learning and academics to produce the best learning preparatory outcomes for our campers!
We want your child to thrive academically, socially, spiritually and in the healthiest way. We’ve centered our summer experience on a theme of “education through learning challenges.” Kids will participate in a variety of fun activities, character and skill development, and diverse opportunities to maintain their health and fitness.
Field Trips
What’s summer school without field trips? Campers will experience exciting in-house field trips with activities that bring education and fun right to your child.
Guest Speakers
Community helpers and volunteers from throughout Decatur, GA will come by to speak, read, have Q&As, or lead an exciting activity with our campers.
S.T.E.A.M. Activities
Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics activities are at the core of our summer camp. Campers will engage in fun experiments, create machines and participate in coding activities on on-site tablets they can check-in/out.
Themed Weekly Lessons
Our campers will explore around-the-world themes where they learn about other countries and topics of interest, from current events to cultural
Wet and Wild Days
To cool down in the summer heat, we have weekly “wet and wild days” on-site, where our campers engage in water-based games and activities.
The Arts Program
We extend our cultural arts program of dance, karate, foreign language, music and art to our summer camp, while offering new team sports opportunities such as basketball, softball or soccer.
Knowledge Days
Our summer learning program helps students who missed recent classroom instruction or may simply be ready to go to the next level of learning. Knowledge days are fun ways of accomplishing their goal! Knowledge days are pre-selected days chosen in the program to help provide a smooth educational transition for each child during the summer.

COVID-19 Considerations
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, International Preparatory Academy has been working closely with state and local governments in Decatur, GA, the CDC, state licensing bodies and others to determine new protocols and procedures, while keeping the health and safety of our participants, coaches, and staff at the forefront.
